The Stanley cup has been through its moment and come out the other side, which is usually the sign of something that was always good rather than briefly popular. Mine keeps water genuinely cold through a full gym session, and that’s the entire reason it stayed.
I have a water bottle obsession, so this is not my only one, but it’s the one that gets used most. The handle makes it easy to carry alongside everything else, the straw means you drink more without thinking about it, and the whole thing still looks good on a desk. At the gym: Still cold at the end of a session, which is the only test that really matters.
On your desk: Big enough that you’re not refilling every hour, and good-looking enough to leave out.
In the car: The handle and the tapered base make it far less precarious than it looks on a long drive.
On a hot day out: Ice survives considerably longer than you’d expect, which changes what you can do with an afternoon.
