Zips into a pillow, unzips into a blanket, and means never touching an aeroplane one again.

Why it makes every trip better
I freeze on every single flight, so taking my own blanket stopped being optional a long time ago. The problem was always carrying it. This zips up into a pillow, which means it travels as one small object rather than a bundle under your arm.
The alternative is what the airline hands you, and unless you’re in business class that’s a thin, scratchy, occasionally questionable piece of material, or nothing at all. Having your own removes that lottery. I’ve owned one of these in several colours, because matching your travel things is a perfectly reasonable thing to care about, and light pink is the softest of them.
WHO TRAVELS WITH THIS
For anyone who has ever landed cold, stiff, and slightly resentful.
The Woman Who Is Always Cold on a Plane: Cabin temperature is set for someone else. Bringing your own is the only thing that reliably works.
The Economy Long-Hauler: Airline blankets are thin at best and absent at worst. This removes the gamble from an eleven-hour flight.
The Germ-Conscious Flyer: Nobody wants to think too hard about how often a shared blanket is washed. Yours is yours.
The Road Tripper: Zipped into a pillow it works for the passenger seat. Unzipped it covers whoever is trying to sleep in the back.
